i'm not pregnant but i need a good daily supply of vitamins. answers please!
Answer:
Prenatal vitamins are good for the mom %26 the baby, you should be perfectly fine to take them, even if you're not pregnant.
yes
Prenatal vitamins are great, even if you are not pregnant. Go ahead.
Sure, they're just vitamins. No harm.
yes my girlfriend does
I do take them. My doc makes me though. She says if i'm not on the pill then she wants me to take them. To prepare my body.
sure, it wont hurt anything...it will just give you more vitamins!
Yes, prenatal vitamins are an excellent source of vitamins, in addition, your hair and nails will get stronger.
sure can, they're good. They also try to get women who are trying to become preggers to take them. So it doesn't affect women who are not pregnant any different.
yes
Yes thay shouldnt harm you. Ive considered taking them myself! Nice to know Im not the only one. But they cant hurt you, Just dont OVER do it and take too much!! Certain vitamins can be DANGEROUS if taken in LARGE doses or high amounts. Thiamine, potassium-etc.
You're probably better off just taking a regular multivitamin. Too many vitamins and minerals can be bad for you...prenatal vitamins are specially developed for a pregnant woman's increased vitamin needs (since the baby uses a lot of vitamins). However, if you are ttc or breastfeeding you can and should take prenatals.
