Bit confused. Stopped taking Cilest April 14th and had my usual breakthrough bleed. Then had a few days clear and then a heavy two day bleed. We've been having unprotected sex quite regularly during this time and for the last few days I've been feeling absolutely rubbish - tired, headaches all the time, dizzy sort of feeling and have put this down to side effects of coming off the pill. Has anyone else experienced this? Seems a bit early to be pregnant and too early for me to test and get a true result. Anyone else come off Cilest and had the same? I had been taking it for 4 years until April 14th. Thanks!

once you stop taking the pill, there are two possible scenarios.
1. you can get pregnant faster 'coz you will ovulate immediately
2. you can have a hard time getting pregnant 'coz your body will have to readjust again to produce your hormones at a natural pace
when i got off the pill, i had spotting the day after i stopped taking it, lasted for three days then had my withrawal bleed (light to heavy to light flow) for about five days then my normal cycle went back. i used condoms during the days i was getting off the pill just to be safe.
test yourself after a month of getting off the pill.

I got pregnant 8 days aftter going off the pill! 8 DAYS!

You could be pregnant or it could be premenstrual syndrome. When you are on the pill you do not have PMS since this is liked with progesterone produced after you ovulated.
Symptoms are pretty much the same in both cases, so just wait some more days and test.
